How do I let go of anger and hurt?

  1. Make the decision to let it go. Things don’t disappear on their own.
  2. Express your pain and your responsibility.
  3. Stop being the victim and blaming others.
  4. Focus on the present — the here and now and joy.
  5. Forgive them and yourself.

How do you let go of a grudge?

  1. Acknowledge the problem. Figure out what it is that’s causing you to hold a grudge.
  2. Share your feelings. A grudge can form when an issue isn’t fully confronted.
  3. Switch places.
  4. Accept what is.
  5. Don’t dwell on it.
  6. Take the positive.
  7. Let it go.
  8. Forgive.

Forgiveness does not mean forgetting, nor does it mean condoning or excusing offences. Though forgiveness can help repair a damaged relationship, it doesn’t obligate you to reconcile with the person who harmed YOU, or release them from legal accountability.

Enjoy,
